Reflections of Hope Ministries, Inc. was born in the heart of Kathy Robbins-Maqsood after the death of her husband, which caused her to consider the fuller calling of God on her life.
Kathy has been in ministry for many years graduating from Christian International University in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida in 1994 with a Bachelors Degree in Theology. As Kathy began to travel the world, she became more aware of the desperate needs of people and discovered the importance that training had in contributing to the success of leaders in all walks of life. As she began to pray, a group of Facebook friends and personal friends encouraged her to begin a ministry and began sending money to assist in the process.

"Reflections of Hope Ministries preaches the gospel of Jesus Christ to the poor, heals the brokenhearted, proclaims liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, sets at liberty those who are oppressed and ministers to orphans and widows. (Luke 4:18; James 1:27) We are a non-profit organization. All our proceeds are used to further the work of the Lord.
The following services are available through this ministry. All of these programs are consistent with our mission and further the purposes of our organization.
LIST OF SERVICES
PHYSICAL CARE SERVICES
FOOD- Many people in the world are starving. Reflections of Hope provides supplies by purchasing large quantities of food and distributing it through local church in the developing world.
WATER- We help install hand pumps in areas with no access to clean water.
MEDICINE- We assist with medications for critical illnesses as funds allow. These are usually life threatening situations where immediate treatment is needed.
TRANSPORTATION-Often the poor do not have access to medical care simply because it is out of reach. In dire situations, Reflections of Hope provides transportation through churches and the rental of vehicles. Primarily, this ministry is taking place in areas that don’t have transportation nor infrastructure.
BLANKETS- Global warming has produced colder winters in many areas. Many of the poor have no cover during the winter months.
"If you teach a man to fish"... Education gives everyone the tools they need to succeed through their lives.
SEWING MACHINES- We assist widows in purchasing sewing machines to become productive and self sufficient.
EMOTIONAL CARE SERVICES
EMOTIONAL SUPPORT- Using the Bible as our basis of hope, comfort is extended to widows, orphans, prisoners and anyone in need.
GRIEF SEMINARS- Because we work in many areas affected by starvation and war, grief is everywhere and impacts all aspects of life. Reflections of Hope teaches grief seminars to provide coping strategies.
MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS- Grief must be expressed. Reflections of Hope feels that music is an excellent form of expression for those who simply want to share.
SPIRITUAL CARE SERVICES
EVANGELISM- We assist local ministries to reach the unsaved and lead them to Jesus Christ.
TRAINING- Reflections of Hope works with local pastors to train people in the truths of the Bible.
CHURCH PLANTING- Reflections of Hope assists in the church planting process around the globe.
We believe in one GOD- Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, Creator of all things.
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God, was conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, was crucified, died, was buried, was resurrected, ascended into heaven, is seated at the right hand of God the Father and is true God and true man.
We believe the entire Bible is the inspired Word of God.
We believe in the resurrection of the dead and the saved will live in the presence of God forever, and the eternal punishment of the lost.
We believe in personal salvation of believers through the shed blood of Jesus Christ.
We believe in sanctification through the Word of God and by the Holy Spirit; we believe in personal holiness, purity of heart and life.
We believe in divine healing, through faith in the Name of Jesus Christ, and that healing is provided in the Redemption.
We believe in Water Baptism, in the Baptism in the Holy Spirit as distinct from the New Birth, in speaking with new tongues as the Spirit of God gives utterance (Acts 2:4), in the gifts of the Spirit, and the evidence of the fruit of the Spirit. We believe that all of these are available to Believers.
We believe in the Christian's hope- the soon coming, personal return of the Lord Jesus Christ.
